Frank Goossensen graduated at Wageningen University in water management. After working at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture he joined Arcadis.

At Arcadis he started working in environment and water, focusing on river basin management plans in the Netherlands and in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, including Poland, Czech Republic and Romania. In Poland, Mr Goossensen was involved in upper- and middle Odra integrated water management projects. After Hurricane Katrina (New Orleans) and Sandy (New York), Arcadis successfully developed their water management practice in the US.

Mr Goossensen is currently the global director for client development, innovation and strategy for Arcadis’ Resilience practice, which is one of the 4 globally operating business areas within Arcadis, with over 10.000 employees.  Key regions for Arcadis are Europe, the UK, Latin America, North America and Australia.

Resilience focuses on climate adaptation, water- and wastewater treatment, energy, environment and sustainability.
