President of the Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCMI), Coordinator of the EU Blue Deal flagship initiative of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).

 He was a Senior Researcher and Aggregate Professor in International Economics at the University of Trieste until 2009. Since 2010, he is a Member of the EESC Employers’ Group. He is the Founder and Director of Digital Innovation Hub. He was appointed Director General of Confartigianato Imprese (the largest European network for artisan enterprises and small businesses) and he headed several leading companies as CEO/DG. Currently, he represents Confartigianato Imprese.
