Professor Jiang Tong, member of Academy of Europe (Academia Europaea), is a distinguish professor and doctoral supervisor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing, as well as Dean of School of Geographical Science, Jiangsu Second Normal University, Nanjing, China. He was a leading author in IPCC AR5 WGII Ch.3 fresh water resources and a review editor in IPCC AR6 WGII Ch.16 key risks across sectors and regions. Prof. Jiang engaged in climate change and extreme event impact, vulnerability, and its risk assessment and management in the context of adaption and mitigation of climate change for more than 30 years. He has published more than 350 peer review papers, edited or co-edited nearly 20 monographs, and authorized more than 20 international patents. It has awarded 9 science, technology and teaching prizes.
