(ENGLISH BELOW) Magdalena Worsa-Kozak jest doktorem nauk o Ziemi z ukończonymi studiami MBA. Zawodowo hydrogeolog, geolog, pracownik naukowy i wykładowca akademicki Politechniki Wrocławskiej. Jest współzałożycielką i obecnie Prezeską Zarządu Stowarzyszenia Hydrogeologów Polskich, cenioną menedżerką interdyscyplinarnych zepołów badawczych i projektów badawczo-rozwojowych z wieloletnim doświadczeniem w zakresie gospodarki wodnej i środowiskowej, górnictwa, circular economy, geologii, hydrogeologii i zrównoważonego zarządzania zasobami. Jest także członkiem Grupy roboczej ds. wód podziemnych przy Komisji Economicznej ds. Europy ONZ oraz członkiem Państwowej Rady Gospodarki Wodnej przy Ministrze Infrastruktury. Dr Worsa-Kozak posiada bogate doświadczenie w negocjacjach, rozwoju biznesu, zarządzaniu projektami, ochronie praw własności intelektualnej oraz międzynarodowej współpracy badawczo-rozwojowej. Piętnaście lat pracy w sektorze górnictwa i metali w Polsce pozwoliło jej na zdobycie szerokiej wiedzy z zakresu gospodarki wodnej w przemyśle górniczym i sektorze surowcowym. Jest autorką i współautorką kilkudziesięciu publikacji naukowych i kilkuset opracowań użytkowych (ekspertyz, dokumentacji, projektów, raportów) z zakresu szeroko pojętych nauk o Ziemi oraz górnictwa i geologii.
W ostatnich latach jest liderką zespołu Geosciene Digital Mining Centre na Wydziale Geoinżynierii, Górnictwa i Geologii Politechniki Wrocławskiej oraz mentorką dla młodych profesjonalistów w hydrogeologii i górnictwie. Ponadto jest kierownikiem międzynarodowego projektu edukacyjnego MEITIM (Master in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Integration in Mining) (www.meitim.eu) oraz koordynatorką międzynarodowego projektu badaczego dotyczącego odzysku pierwiastków krytycznych z wód podziemnych – BrineRIS (Brines of RIS countries as a source of critical raw materials and energy supply) współfinansowanego przez EIT RawMaterials (brineris.pwr.edu.pl).
Magdalena Worsa-Kozak is a doctor of earth sciences with an MBA degree. Professionally a hydrogeologist, geologist, researcher and academic lecturer at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. She is the co-founder and currently the President of the Management Board of the Association of Polish Hydrogeologists, a valued manager of interdisciplinary research teams and research and development projects with many years of experience in the field of water and environmental management, mining, circular economy, geology, hydrogeology and sustainable resource management. He is also a member of the Working Group on Groundwater at the UN Economic Commission for Europe and a member of the National Water Management Council at the Minister of Infrastructure. Dr. Worsa-Kozak has extensive experience in negotiations, business development, project management, protection of intellectual property rights and international research and development cooperation. Fifteen years of work in the mining and metals sector in Poland allowed her to gain extensive knowledge in the field of water management in the mining industry and the raw materials sector. She is the author and co-author of several dozen scientific publications and several hundred applied studies (expert opinions, documentation, projects, reports) in the field of broadly understood Earth sciences, mining and geology.
In recent years, she has been the leader of the Geosciene Digital Mining Center team at the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and a mentor for young professionals in hydrogeology and mining. Additionally, she is the manager of the international educational project MEITIM (Master in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Integration in Mining) (www.meitim.eu) and the coordinator of the international research project on the recovery of critical elements from groundwater – BrineRIS (Brines of RIS countries as a source of critical raw materials and energy supply) co-financed by EIT RawMaterials (brineris.pwr.edu.pl).
